‘The Menstrual Cycle,

In My Body’

‘(The Menstrual Cycle) In My Body’ is an interview series highlighting a diverse array of menstruators and their experience of the menstrual cycle, in their body, for the purpose of: telling our stories, connecting + creating community, acknowledging shared and differing experiences for greater understanding and compassion for self and others.

In the interviews, menstruators share everything from stories of first periods to reflections on education received (and not), learnings from the body to things they wish they’d known, traumas, pain and healing experiences, birth control and fertility journeys, important mentors and guides, menstrual cycle practices, overall wisdoms and insights, and just about any and everything else that comes up along the way!

Whether we acknowledge it or not, existing on this planet means living within the constant cycles of life and death. And how amazing (and challenging) is it that, as menstruators, our bodies hold and reflect this greater rhythm of life itself. Whether you cycle regularly, are on hormonal birth control, have transitioned out of a menstruating body, have an irregular cycle, haven’t started menstruating yet, already finished, or even never had a cycle at all, we all experience similar and differing experiences, wins, and challenges within our cycles and lives.

Let’s make space for the hard moments, celebrate the awesome ones, and share learnings, together.
